Instructions for Gold Candy Cane Cover:

Materials:
small amount of size 10 thread
1.5 mm hook Conversion chart

Size: Fits 7.5" candy cane.

Abbreviations:
Sc: single crochet
tr: treble crochet
Sl: sl
St(s): stitch (es)
Ch: Chain
Sp: space

Row 1: Ch 81; tr in 5th ch from hook (counts as first tr); tr in next st,
ch 2, skip 2 ch, *(tr in next 2 sts, ch 2, skip 2 ch) repeat from
* across to last 2 chs; tr in last 2 chs; ch 1, turn.

Row 2: sc in between first 2 tr; *ch 5, skip next tr and ch-2 sp and sc between next 2 tr; repeat from * across; ch 1, turn.

Row 3: sl st in first st,ch 1, work (dc, ch 1) a total of 4 times; sl st in next sc; *ch 1, work (dc, ch 1) a total of 4 times in the next ch-5 sp, sl st in next sc;repeat from * across; fasten off and weave in ends.

Weave candy cane through ch-2 spaces of center section.
